Rehabilitation Center

Metroplex Rehabilitation Center is the largest, adult/child outpatient rehabilitation center in the area, offering physical, occupational and speech-language pathology services. The therapy staff has over 75 years of combined clinical experience and works closely with referring physicians to provide the highest quality patient care. Clients receive a comprehensive evaluation with the development of an individualized treatment plan, tailored to meet their needs.

The center accepts most local insurance providers including but not limited to:

Sessions are one-on-one. Children’s therapy is separate from adult therapy.

Occupational Therapy

Occupational Therapy focuses on physical, cognitive, sensory or motor deficits to master the skills needed for self-care, work and leisure.

Physical Therapy

Physical Therapists strive to restore the client's mobility and function to the highest level possible while maintaining their dignity and restoring their confidence.

Speech Therapy

Speech-Language Pathologists work with patients who are suffering from speech or language deficits resulting from head injuries, strokes and other anomalies.

Aquatics

This custom-designed therapeutic pool is a beneficial form of therapy that is useful for a variety of medical conditions to assist in patient healing and exercise performance.

Stroke Rehab

Rehabilitation helps stroke survivors relearn skills that are lost when part of the brain is damaged. Even though rehabilitation does not "cure" stroke, in that it does not reverse brain damage, rehabilitation can substantially help people achieve the best possible long-term outcome.

Sports Medicine

Sports medicine specializes in preventing, diagnosing and treating injuries related to participating in sports and/or exercise, specifically the rotation or deformation of joints or muscles caused by engaging in such physical activities.

Manual Therapy

Manual Therapy encompasses the treatment of health ailments of various etiologies through “hands-on”, physical intervention. Physical treatments include massage, soft tissue mobilization, various connective tissue techniques and more.
