I have a serious chronic illness which requires constant care. I am normally shipped to Scott & White for Pulmonary Care, although my primary physician is at Metroplex.
I never felt as if though I was receiving the best care possible until the 24th of November. I went in for a serious breathing problem and was just so impressed with the nurse (Rene) and the ER doctor. They were thorough, quick, extremely skilled, and more importantly, compassionate to my specific needs. They involved me and my family in every step of the care and had my treatment and diagnosis before I left the ER. I was quickly transferred to the 5th floor where I experienced true nursing care. I had the best bunch of nurses and aides of any hospital stay, and I have had plenty of them. They were exceptional in every aspect of care. The best part of my care was the confidence that should my spouse or child get hurt, I would feel that they were receiving exceptional care at Metroplex. Thanks for a wonderful experience.
