Patient rooms may be called by dialing the hospital’s main number and asking for the patient name and room number. Since a patient’s room and assignment may change, your relatives and friends should check with the information desk for your correct room number.
Patients may receive calls in their rooms from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Local and toll-free calls may be made at any time from the room by dialing 9 and then the number. Long distance and toll calls can be made collect or charged to your telephone credit card by dialing 9, then 0 for the operator. Long distance calls cannot be charged to your room.
