Welcome to the ministry of your community health system - Metroplex. "Taking care of the sick and hurting" in the communities we are privileged to serve is our Christian Mission, and our over 1500 physicians, employees, and volunteers are committed to clinical service excellence, as we allow our hands and hearts to be utilized to extend the healing ministry of Christ.

In July 2008, Metroplex and Scott & White partnered to provide superior healthcare close to home. Scott & White became a 32% partner with Adventist Health System in the ownership of Metroplex. Scott & White has committed to recruiting 13 physicians in needed specialties to be active members of the Metroplex Medical Staff by June 2011. These new physicians will expand the variety of services for patients in our service area that has been provided by our exceptional team of caregivers.

All Metroplex facilities are committed to providing safe, life-enriching experiences for our patients and their families. The new Sue Mayborn Women's Center and Center for Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine are two clear examples of our commitment to meeting the needs of our community. The expansion of our   Emergency Center to serve our ever-growing patient population is yet another example of our commitment to reinvesting in our community.
