Lampasas Health Fest: June 11, 2009
Rollins Brook Community Hospital in Lampasas invites you to bring your entire family to take advantage of this FREE health fest. The event is June 11th from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Lampasas Hanna Springs Intermediate School at 602 E. Avenue F.

Activities include

• Free health screenings including cholesterol, glucose, blood pressure and many more
• Face painting
• Bouncy house
• More than 30 health organizations showcasing their goods and services

Come enjoy sno-cones, free balloons and have a chance to meet Health E. Bear, the hospital mascot!

KidFest Health & Safety Fair: July 26, 2009
The 21st Annual KidFest Health & Safety Fair, sponsored by Metroplex Health System, is set for Sunday, July 26th from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Killeen Civic and Conference Center on W.S. Young.

Free school immunizations will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis and by financial need.

Activities include

• Free health screenings including vision and hearing checks, height and weight checks, scoliosis screenings, lung function tests and many more!
• A visit from Health E. Bear, hospital mascot
• Tours of a fire truck, ambulance and the LifeStar helicopter
• Giant bouncy houses
• Rock Climbing
• Entertainment routines from local exercise and dance programs
• Free popcorn, lemonade and sno-cones for everyone
