The Metroplex Wellness Department’s mission is to promote healthy lifestyles for people in our community. One lifestyle most people do not consider on a day-to-day basis is staying up-to-date on school immunizations.

The Wellness team host free monthly clinics in conjunction with Texas Vaccines for Children. The clinics are first-come, first-served and based on financial need. Those with Medicaid, who have no insurance or are underinsured, qualify for free immunizations. An eligibility form is required at each clinic. All clinics are available to all students – all you need is your child’s shot record or a letter from the school.

• February 10 - Bellaire Elementary
• March 10 - Cavazos Elementary
• April 14 - Fowler Elementary
• May 12 - Harker Heights Elementary
• September 8 - Peebles Elementary
• October 13 - Ira Cross Elementary
• November 8 - Harker Heights Elementary
