The Metroplex Wellness Department’s mission is to promote healthy lifestyles for people in our community.
The Wellness Department hosts several community events to aid in keeping Central Texas residents healthy and happy.
Immunization Clinics
The Wellness team host free monthly clinics in conjunction with Texas Vaccines for Children. The clinics are first-come, first-served and based on financial need. Those with Medicaid, who have no insurance or are underinsured, qualify for free immunizations. An eligibility form is required at each clinic. All clinics are available to all students – all you need is your child’s shot record or a letter from the school.

Health Screenings
Quarterly health screenings are held at both Metroplex Adventist Hospital and Rollins Brook Community Hospital. In addition, the wellness team travels to several locations throughout Central Texas each moth to administer low or no-cost screenings to the community. Wellness Events
Each year, the Metroplex Wellness Department holds several community events focused on health. All events (with the exception of the Silver Classic 5K) are free and open to the community.
