Celebrate Life with the Center for Wound Care & Hyperbaric Medicine

KILLEEN — Putting the fun back in life is the main focus at the new Center for Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine, and on July 9, 2009, you are invited to tour the facility and learn how these advanced treatments can heal a non-healing wound.

The Center – located at 2300 S. Clear Creek Road, Suite 101 in Killeen – is hosting an open house and ribbon cutting event from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Key speakers will discuss the oxygen chambers and treatments, and patients will be available to share their healing stories.

The facility is the only wound care center with hyperbaric chambers located between Waco and Austin. Operating on an outpatient basis, the Center treats diabetic/neurotrophic ulcers, pressure ulcers, arterial & venous vascular ulcers, traumatic or surgical wounds, infected or non-healing wounds and small burns (not more than 10% total body surface area).

The center is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. For more information, visit mplex.org or call 254.526.2985.
