Metroplex Adventist Hospital re: Fort Hood Shooting Update

KILLEEN, TX (November 6, 2009) – Metroplex Adventist Hospital received seven of the victims from the Fort Hood shootings this afternoon. One was under distress in route to the hospital and was later pronounced dead. Two have been released from surgery and are being sent to ICU. Four have been stabilized. Of those four, two were transferred to Scott & White Memorial Hospital in Temple, TX and two have been transferred to Seton in Round Rock, TX. Scott & White is accepting blood donations at their main facility in Temple, TX. We here at Metroplex Adventist Hospital are deeply saddened by this tragedy. Our hearts and prayers go out to all involved.
