With an ever expanding network of board certified cardiologists, our cardiac team provides excellent care for patients from around the Central Texas area.
We use the latest technology and procedures to identify and treat heart disease, including a new state-of-the-art, 24-hour a day cardiac catheterization lab with top-level diagnostic capabilities.
Our non-invasive procedures provide wellness solutions without the need for surgery. Instead we use special instruments that allow for smaller incisions, quicker recovery, and fewer side effects—resulting in a better experience for you.
Interventional cardiologists are able to perform:
- Cardiac angiograms
- Catheterizations
- Stent placement in the cardiac catheterization lab
Cardiologists specializing in electrophysiology use the cath lab to implant pacemakers and implantable cardioverter defibrillator devices (ICD).
Metroplex also maintains a modern imaging center equipped with a 64-slice CT Scanner which is one of the most advanced cardiac diagnostic tools available today. Early detection allows your cardiologist to choose from more treatment options available to you.
Metroplex also offers cardiac rehabilitation and a variety of Wellness programs and classes that address diet and other cardiac-related information.
