Your Hospital Team

Metroplex Adventist Hospital offers a multidisciplinary team that includes physicians, nurses, therapists, technicians, dieticians, aides and more.

The Nursing Staff

A team of professional registered nurses, licensed vocational nurses and nurse assistants provide 24-hour nursing care. A charge nurse is responsible for directing and coordinating nursing care on the unit. Please feel free to contact your nurse or the charge nurse if you have questions or concerns.

The physician who admits you is responsible for directing your care while you are in the hospital. Your physician, as the coordinator for your treatment program, should be  consulted if you have questions about your illness.

Volunteer Services

The Volunteer Services Department provides volunteers throughout the hospital to assist the staff in the performance of non-medical duties in an attempt to improve the quality of service rendered to our patients and visitors. The volunteers staff areas such as the information desk, gift shop, registration and emergency room registration. During the summer, a youth volunteer program is offered to stimulate the interest of young people in health careers and to teach them the joy and satisfaction that comes from helping others. To learn more about volunteer opportunities, call 519-8147 or 519-8148.

Pastoral Services/Chaplain

Metroplex believes that total patient care includes attention to the spiritual, as well as the physical and emotional needs of each patient. Our Pastoral Care staff is available 24 hours a day for the primary purpose of ministering to the emotional and spiritual needs of patients, their families and the hospital staff.
