Metroplex Health System Volunteers provide scholarships for students who are pursuing careers in Human Health Services.
$5,500 in scholarship funds will be awarded to deserving students. Eligibility is based on academic achievement, community involvement, and career focus. Scholarships range from $1,000 to $1,500. Applications can be obtained at the information desk in the Metroplex Hospital lobby, or with high school counselors in Bell, Coryell, and Lampasas Counties.

Historically, Metroplex has awarded numerous annual scholarships. Among the list of scholarships is the Dot Hausmann Scholarship of $1,500 to honor the former Metroplex Volunteer Services Director who served the community for 18 years.
High school seniors and college undergraduates are encouraged to apply. Finalists are interviewed by a panel of judges and announced in April.
